A: If your present hosting provider can no longer satisfy the necessities of your web site, or when you undergo continual downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the tech support team to get back to you, it may be a smart idea to change your hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your websites along with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Host On Inter.NET, we know that this can be difficult and time–consuming. That is the reason why we’ll accomplish all that for you at no cost!Our trained technical team representatives will migrate your web site content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our techs have a lot of experience migrating websites and can take care of anything – from a typical WordPress–driven blog or Joomla^™ CMS–powered website, to a highly elaborate, custom–built web application.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time frame, because there are many variables, among them the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our very best to migrate your web site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (when the content is not large).

A: We don’t collect any personal details. We’ll need, though, the login info for your old hosting account as well as the name of the website that you would like to move.

A: Our Privacy Policy is an indivisible part of the contract that we’ll have with you as a client. We’re devoted to protecting the safety of the personal data collected from the customers. A: While we migrate your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your former web hosting provider. As soon as the migration is finished, we will ensure that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised prior to notifying you that the transfer is completed. After that, we will explain to you how to transfer the domain name to your hosting account with us and how to update your DNS settings.

A: While we move your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We will never touch base with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can gain access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website building platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
