The JailHost option cannot be a substitute for doing frequent script updates or using proper passwords, but it will minimize any damage to your Internet sites significantly, so you'll need to fix only one Internet site instead of all of them.

JailHost in Cloud Website Hosting

In case you host your websites in a cloud website hosting account from our company, you will be able to protect them using the JailHost option with just a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. This feature is provided with all packages and can be enabled for each folder as the domains and subdomains in Hepsia have different folders, so files for different Internet sites do not get mixed up as it often happens with other Control Panels. We haven't activated JailHost by default because you could use scripts which need access to folders outside the primary site folder and this option could interfere with their proper operation, but securing all other folders is simple and easy. If any protected Internet site gets hacked for whatever reason, we can restore it very quickly as we'll have multiple daily backups of your entire account and you will even be able to view the available backups in Hepsia.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers

If you have a semi-dedicated server account, you can activate JailHost with a few clicks from your Hepsia Control Panel because we've included this option in all of our semi-dedicated packages. It isn't active by default for the reason that you may use an application that requires accessibility to other folders within the account and JailHost may cause problems, yet you could secure all other websites by isolating them from each other. This will be very easy because in Hepsia all domains and subdomains have individual folders.
